Ask for scientific advice
Use this service to get scientific advice from the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The MHRA has published guidance on the types of scientific advice it offers.
There is a fee to receive scientific advice. You will be invoiced after your meeting. Some organisations or product types do not need to pay a fee. You can find out more about fees for scientific advice.
This form takes around 10 minutes to complete. It does not save your progress so please make sure you have all the information listed below so you can complete it.

Payment details
- For small to medium companies (SMEs): MHRA approval letter for SME payment waiver (opens in new tab)
- For non-SMEs: Invoice address and contact details for payment purposes
After submitting the form
You will recieve a copy of your request in an email. Once your request has been reviewed, the MHRA will contact you with information on the next steps.
